Dear all:

 

While the world is out stressing about Christmas trees and Santa Clause, we have to take stock and wonder and ask – what’s in it for God?

                

Is it the pressures, the stress or the mistletoe? Or is it the Lord our God who we really want to know?

 

Why were these things started so very long ago that coincides with the longest and shortest day of the year? Is it because the syncretic traditions of men have blended with Christianity that cause so many to fear?

 

And if so much joy & cheer are to be had at this time of year – why do people soon forget without a tear?

 

It comes on a time on a rotational basis where the next holiday will be met with the same programmed response, reaction, distraction, and stasis.

 

“Be ye separate” is the order of the Lord.

 

How can people think or believe in this day and age that we have come so far and claim to be apart from all the bondage and slavery of men?

 

Why is that we have learned nothing from the exodus account to set us free only to be enslaved by the debt of all involved? Yes, we are all guilty.

 

Is it the presents, the gifts, the merriment of men? Or, the sacrifice, the willingness, of dying and being born again…

 

God is still there as he always was and asks the question of when will we come home? He looks over the horizon every day by day wondering when we can come to stay.

 

So when we don’t measure up to the traditions of men, let us recall with wonder and awe – that what is most important in this desert air is the comfort, the joy, and happiness to come…

 

As we look behind us at the All Seeing Eye, and look to the light that leads us by and by.

 

Where there are no holidays, no stress, no bills, but only the Lord, His Anointed Holy and True. He lights our path, guides our life, and sets us apart to do his will. We do his work with joy in our hearts.

 

Everyday.
