Not on this earth

The joy of the Lord

The joy of the Lord & giving it all away in order to return:

It’s time to love people no matter what. Even when we have disagreements, strife and differences of belief. Isn’t life much more than the paper it’s printed on which the words inspire and invoke the heart?  Where much to a person’s chagrin reality is shaped around our concept of how we perceive things to be? Or how we speak for God when God has already spoken?

When the deep things and unction’s of the spirit cry out for reconciliation; who is it that will come to our aid? Whose yoke can we take and whose shoulders will carry our burden? Where was the arbiter of our soul in our day of trouble? Didn’t we all come from a far away country looking for the Father? Didn’t he come to our relief and pour us a cup of cold water and put a ring on our finger and a robe on our back?

Wasn’t he there to soothe our sores and pour oil upon our head? And when the wolves howled at night, and our soul cried out for mercy who was it that came to our side to offer words of encouragement and a helping hand? Or when the waters closed in and the darkness surrounded and the enemy sought our life – who was it that provided the protection and escape?

On the path of life let love be our guide to guide us through the hot sands of time when the heat of the day blisters our walk and we don’t think we can make it any more. When the defenses are thin and the embattlements are breached it is time to lean forward and let love be our joy that sustains us through the night what no man or woman can feel except only you. This is the bond that the kindred few who unite in these last days of time to take rest, food and shelter from the Most High.

It is Jesus who sustains our life here on this earth. Even for us the few that follow Him so far into the night when we are ready to faint. Some even do sleep for the trouble that lies up ahead which is so hard but we struggle with hope in our hearts for we know He will return even at midnight when the call has been announced. For the Bridegroom commeth so we make ourselves ready. We trim our lamps for He is almost here. The darkness envelops but here comes the Light.

We leave our baggage behind when our worries went astray. Now is the time to rejoice with tears in our eyes. Now is the time that the tears are of joy. Our eyes are firmly on Jesus who is the savior of our souls. Why did we worry when he said all will be right? All we had to have was that small grain of faith that would see us through even in the darkest part of the night…

Let there be a healing in the remnant body of Christ. Let us build each other up in the Lord. Even the saints get tired and worn out.  Let our camp be strong and of good cheer. Love goes beyond all barriers of hurt or pain or grief. Love conquers all.

As kings and priests in the called out church, our ministry is to each other. We are all sinners at the feet of the cross. We are all the Lord’s sheep. One flock one Shepherd.

Trust God and lean not to your own understanding. Let Love be your rule & guide.

And let faith guide your ways…
