Redemption
2-20-11

Sometimes in life it's that one chance that we have that besets us so. When the timbers of our memory will ring so cherished and clear. Like it was yesterday when the conversation was light and grand and full of life that we had to stop and ponder the meaning of it all.

But something got in the way in the pursuit of things. Call it hubris, or pride, or the perils of luck. The responsibility for it all would forever be borne within. In those quiet ensuing moments that tug at our soul we recall when time stood still. Even in that instant when a thought would appear would all the worries, cares and pressures simply fade away into a forever time outside it all. To feel safe, loved and young at heart.

The past can never be gone back to change the hands of time nor can the recollections that are recorded, can one ever let go. Things that are said after the addition of years will haunt the remainder of one's remaining tears. For the hand of time can never turn back. Only through the present and future does it remind us so - to stop and ponder the error that was made.

Even a media naranja gets cut in half still regretting that another heart was severed in time. The remorse, the reproach and sorrow that remains within is born again in the hope that desperation is not it's final home. That forgiveness is a liberality that is generous in it's scope. That pain is passing and forgiveness which is sought will fall like rain from the sky to wash away the sins of the past.

They say that life is a sum of it's actions up to that point and only can one appreciate what was lost before when nothing is left to be gained except for that redemption, forgiveness and rescue for that soul who grieves. The actions of this life are secondary now and the hope that mercy can be obtained beats in our heart waiting to be found.

Food for the soul is what it's like as we walk over that hill looking for that Love to embrace, that forgiveness to set us free. Closer and closer to our home we go knowing that when we arrive even though we beg forgiveness for our soul; a ring will be put on our finger and robe to cover us with gladness that will make us whole.

Only Jesus Christ can save.

Only Jesus Christ is God.
