There's a photo now circulating on the web (as opposed to the one on the right) which shows an aptly dressed (al least by todays standards) young adult male with a near shaved head and earrings holding in his left hand a recently brewed cup of latte with the cardboard heat protection sleeve while vociferously pointing his finger and assuredly spewing out obscenities to who knows who.

This seems to be the new normal these days. The rancor, hatred, angst, bitterness that gushers forth in our cities. Like an explosive fire hydrant, except the fires of dissension are everywhere now but the water has run dry. 

Yes, Wall Street and our politicians have raped this country and the common people are on the hook for trillions of dollars that can never be paid. Now the students who were told to study hard and get good grades haven't much of a future to look forward to. On top of it all, since many of them are into liberal socialism, they blame Capitalism. But it's really not that. It's Corporatism and Globalism that they can't see the forrest through all the trees ...of discontent. Now the students can't pay their bills and their combined debt is more than the national credit card debt if you can believe that. 

What a lot of people just don't seem to understand is all this debt is not really debt but just a transfer of wealth. You can call it this "ism" or that "ism" but it's all pretty much the same. 

There's always been a political left and right, a donkey or an elephant, the rich and the poor. Somebody's got to build that pyramid no matter how big or small. Right now the fight is not really about money or status quo or right or wrong but about power. 

Power is the end result on that last level that leads to the top. Power is what people crave to make their lives secure. And when it slips away and they have no hope they scramble and scurry trying to succeed. 

Then there are some people who won't give you 5 minutes of their time. They are too busy, working or just don't care. They have their agendas and schedules or productions and timelines to make.

Sometimes 5 minutes is a lot of time to someone who just needs to say hello or hear someone else's voice. Have to do this or that because time is running out (or at least they say).

Sometimes it can be worth more than all the money in the world when somebody cares about you with no price tag over your head.

What's really at stake in this world is a persons net worth. A soul is a valuable commodity of more value than all the silver and gold that a person can possess in this short fleeting expanse of time. 

All the 401's, mutual funds, IRA's or retirement funds or money in the bank won't save you in your day of distress. Nor will any membership in a state sponsored tax exempt corporation stand the assault of the storm to come.

Nor will that all-seeing eye on the back of a dollar bill ever be connected to its base. After all the empire building that has gone on all they way back to Egypt if one cares to look will crumble on the sands of time where she was originally built. 

The people had to leave the system that they fight so hard to preserve. Except this time the exodus is spiritual and it takes spiritual eyes in order to see. The logistics are the same, the pagan gods just morphed to the present is all, the high priests are still around in state sanctioned religions that sell their wares. Nothing has changed. The paradigm is still the same. 

It's all right to go against the grain. A quiet revolution that is. To divest of the worlds nomenclature that lies in wait all around. For your hope is not in man or a slogan or a speech on the campaign trail or the politics of man. 

It's in the Son of man who paid the debt for all willing to believe who never "protested" when they drove the nails in his hands. The scourging, whipping and obscenities that were flung his way did not elicit a rebellion on his part. He paid the price for many a heart to go against the politics and religion of his day. His faith secure, in glory and in riches and joy for all eternities to come.

Even in this present age which is quickly passing away, there is a hope and a future that is secure.

So listen for that small still voice that calls out your name. There is someone out there who will turn just 5 minutes of your time into all eternity.

And let Jesus Christ who is the one and only true God of this world to - 

Occupy -your- reality.
