Not on this earth

Destroying Gods Creation
4-16-11

Most people look at the Scriptures with rose colored glasses. The reality they think they are seeing usually conforms to the world. To places. To people. To things. Politics is relegated to the expedient and is nuanced, pre-packaged and delivered in sound bytes. Religion on the other hand is organized and it's membership closely guarded like a family secret unless they can recruit you inside their doors. The so-called Christians when asked about their spiritual leaning will automatically reply that they are "fill in the blank with the name of their Denomination".  How ironic.

I just got done watching a movie tonight that was recommended by a couple of people that I know and it was titled Tropic Thunder. Its cast sported cinematic luminaries such as Ben Stiller, Robert Downing Jr., Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey, Nick Nolte and Tom Cruise. Together, the combined net worth of these individuals is well over a billion dollars. They are considered box office cash cows, money makers and huge successes. They live in luxurious homes with life styles that the common man or woman can't even imagine. They are famous, have photogenic looks and people are mesmerized in their presence.

This movie by the way was one of the most vile, immoral and crude movies I had ever seen in my life period. I lost count of all the times God was damned and Christ was cursed.

But the movie for it's part made almost 200 million dollars, was praised by the media and fans flocked to watch it..

On another note: today I talked to Bob Gerity. He will tell you that he is a Christian. We talked about many things. Seems there are very few of us out there. Just a tiny remnant or so it seems. Most people are still living in the left right paradigm of politics, religion or relationships to name a few and it was a pleasure to talk to another believer who against seemingly huge odds will tell the truth. Bob is one of those rare people.

Now for the prophecy:

The fame of self is what it's really all about. Ol' Lucy is still out and about. With her charms, trinkets and baubles she roams the streets looking for who might be willing to join her to rebel. On the outside she looks good, has smooth words and makes profanity de rigueur.

But she says - What is life really if not for the brief interludes of spontaneity, creative accomplishment or fleeting satisfaction all against the backdrop of chronological disorder? The passage of time can only be gauged with murky recollections of what once was that can be destroyed so why not live for the moment & enjoy life..

Lucy has her minions everywhere. Lucy is Lucifer. She is the Lucy in the sky with diamonds.

Looking for people always wanting to get ahead and carve out their personal pyramids for the pleasure and the pride, people vie headlong into the matrix of political and world religious identification. They go hand in hand. In the end it will all be in vain. From the high steeples of their meeting places to their party affiliation or personality cults, it will not succeed much to the chagrin of those who have the most to lose.

They will vehemently scourge and whip those who speak the truth to try to preserve their earthly standing in a crumbling tide of events that cause men's hearts to fail for fear. It's no wonder that things in this world are as they are.

If only they could break out of the paradigm that they're in. Whether it be the money, the power, the pride or their whims.

Politics and religion are essentially the same with their pulpits, their audience and powers that be. But the road of the cross is rugged, brutal and few travel its path. These are the few brave souls that live far from the organized cities of collective thought. They are the wayfarers, the outcasts and the lonely at heart.

They consist of a tiny nation of people however small, that are blessed in spirit away from it all. Away from the lexicon of modern thought. Their only product is a reflection of God's creation through Jesus Christ that through all the trials and pain and tears, they continue to survive in this most precarious of times.

While they sit at the physical portals of the establishment begging at the steps hoping that someone inside their comfortable mansions to pride, organization and self will hear - that voice that cries out in the wilderness not to destroy Gods creation because in the end, they destroy themselves.

And as for Gods true creation even if in the end they die -

yet shall they live...

Because in the end the only way to preserve ones life is to leave the system.

Even if they die.
