Bottles in the sea:

And how the world works, and works, and works…

Remember the old saying of the 80/20 rule where 20% of the workforce will do 80% of the work? Doesn’t say much for the rest of the bunch does it?  And what about all the people who don’t have current work right now…

Or do they?

With God, the stakes are much higher not to mention eternal. When the prophets of old started out, it was portrayed against a physical backdrop. In other words, the history that was being made was God-breathed and God-inspired through actual events that through the expanse of time melded the heart of the Almighty through real time people, places, and things that were recorded in his Holy writ and passed down through the corridors of time in the believing remnant as the Spirit moved.

Times haven’t changed all that much as they relate to people. People are still the same. Nothing new under the sun. As this current chronological age grinds to a halt, and wickedness increases, as the hearts of men grow cold, the current of God’s Word remains the same. God has said everything that he wanted to say. In order to understand, those seeking him must have ears to hear and eyes to see. Not just the physical but the spiritual. The paradigm of the purely physical seekers will never break away from their construct of the left/right paradigm whereas the spiritual “narrow minded” seekers will break away and endure till the end (as overcomers).

God’s physical lineage has been translated into the spiritual. The sad part is most people will want to take a part in their own salvation whether they are God deniers (self-worshippers), God haters, or a collective tiered religious structure of respecters of persons. God however remains the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Time is elastic to God. Once you make your decision to leave it all behind, you are now in Gods eternity. Everything else is a zero-sum game where a person’s biological clock will eventually deteriorate.

The truly fascinating component to all this is where when you look at the Word of God, it becomes a living matrix that is beyond the scope of our human understanding. We look through a glass darkly. Another fascinating thought is how God has taken the physical things of past recorded history and applied spiritual overlays to them that he even foretold would repeat in frequency. Truly fascinating.

In the end of our physical existence, God’s Word remains. As a testament to his never ending immortal love for humankind, he clothed himself in humility as Jesus the Christ by communicating the life force that inhabits all around us. In God’s eternity, he will measure everyone’s faith. Like an hourglass full of sand that slowly runs out as it is tipped over, our belief in him will be measured in faith and love for the Truth. Just like the sand as our lives are physically poured out; they spiritually accumulate by faith “on the other side” of the glass.

And just like Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life”.

A NOTE IN A BOTTLE:

God has put his Word in a bottle of sorts (or a “vessel”) and has placed that bottle in a sea of unbelief that stays afloat (buoyant) floating around until it lands ashore on a distant land just waiting for that weary traveler to pick up that bottle and read its contents. Contents mind you that will set that person free.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God…

Will you be that person that physically contains God’s Spiritual Word?
