A prayer for guidance:
Father God – let your mercy cover us like a warm blanket on a cold night. When doubt and despair attack us, let us be bold and brave in adversity never forgetting your promises and the holy blood you shed. When the enemy tries to breech the walls; let us press forward under the banner of hope and never forget that you lead us through the smoke of hurt, pain, weakness, fear, and trials.
As the tears roll down our faces, when we encounter the challenges of life, when unexpected circumstances hit home; let us never waiver in knowing that you lead us through all things and knowing that you never leave nor forsake your children.
Let the shout go out in the camp of the Lord for all in the world to hear that you alone are our God, protector, guide, and the One who restores and comforts.
May our strength be renewed in your holy name, our resolve be replenished, and our knowledge be increased as we cry out – Hear o Israel – the Lord our God, the Lord is One.
